A major redesign for 2016 with a heavily reworked 1050 triple (104 engine changes), ride-by-wire, five riding modes with traction control and switchable ABS, and an under-seat exhaust. The R sat above the S with fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, Brembo monobloc brakes, billet clamps and risers, and carbon fibre mudguard and tank panels.
